Steve
is a retired tax executive and was a licensed CPA in California and
Oregon. He
started painting in 1997 and, along with taking art classes at the
College of Marin, he studied with Wedo Georgetti and Pascal Cucaro.
Steve is influenced by Social Realism, the Ashcan School, and
California School Artists such as Emil Kosa and Phil Dike.
He paints both Plein- Air and from photos in his Sausalito Studio.
He has been represented by Connexions Gallery and his work was used
on the set of Nash Bridges and several recent feature films. Steve
paints with water soluble oils on canvas and mixed media on paper.
Steve has been in group shows at the Sausalito Women's Club,
Sausalito Yacht Club and Connexions Gallery.
