He creates sculptures from marble and stone in the northern Mediterranean town of Carrara, Italy. He lived there surrounded by the marble mountains since 1969. For many years he studied Zen meditation and his work had a deep silence, reflecting the spiritual values of this discipline. The energy forms of nature are reinterpreted in the array of marble he uses: bardiglio, fior di pesco statuario, and verde alphi. These simple elegant sculptures are the shape of spirit.
