His
love for art began at an early age, he since has pursued drawing, painting, and
now is focusing on sculpting. Randy has participated in the Loveland Sculpture
Invitational Show for the past 5 years. I didn't get serious about making a
living with my art until a good friend, who worked for Disney as an animator,
stressed to me the importance of drawing every day. Since then I have filled
volumes of sketch books, and through this practice developed my own Unique
style. Each piece I create has its own personality and carries with it a fantasy
or whimsical edge.
Having worked for more than 6 years at a major foundry, I have acquired extensive experience and expertise in the bronze casting process, and now is a specialist in bronze patination. His success is evidenced by being a repeat exhibitor at California's most popular Sausalito Art Festival. Here is a sample of my newest creation.
