Her
work strikes the viewer by its clarity, sparkling colours and a style of its
own. She plays with perspective, layeredness, forms, composition and colours. A
play between the figurative and the abstract. Recurring themes are nudes,
landscapes, still-lifes, as well as judicial and musical scenes.
Her work receives national and international acclaim. She studied Dutch language
at the University of Amsterdam and from 1985 - 1989 she freqented the Academy of
Art Ruudt Wackers in Amsterdam. Among her teachers were Stien Elsingh, Johan
Haanstra, and Jan Sierhuis.
Her work is part of the collections of corporations and institutions: Ministerie
