My work reflects my peaceful state of mind
while living on Northern California’s quiet Mendocino Coast. 
Closeness to
nature affords a wealth of subject matter which speaks to the infinite creations
of God and the Earth’s changing moods: the bursting forth of Spring, the
peaceful summer rivers, the quiet golden light of autumn on the land, and the
changing weather of winter ocean skies.
I am particularly interested in the light as it shines through in magic moments
and provides peace and hope in our troubled world.
I work from plein aire
studies produced on location and from my own photographic reference material
which I then interpret through my experience of the subject.
