Open Studios dates are June 4, 5, 11 & 12, 11:00am - 6:00 p.m.
Artist Registration for East Bay Open Studios 2006
opens November 9, 2004 - closes February 5, 2006.
Two weekends every June, artists throughout the East Bay invite the
public into their workspaces to sell art, meet new people, gain
exposure, and build mailing lists.
Deadline for submissions is Saturday, February 5, 2006. This event
requires each artist to be a member of Pro Arts. Fees include a listing
in the Map & Directory, Virtual Gallery with MesArt.com (and your
own personal URL), space in the Pro Arts Preview Exhibition, Artists
Books, and more. The exhibition opens April 28 and runs through June 12.
East Bay Open Studios dates are Saturdays and Sundays, June 4, 5, 11
& 12, 2006.

A Self-Guided Tour
100 Artists & Craftspeople Open Their Workshops to the Public
Saturdays and Sundays 11-6 p.m.
November 25 & 26, December 2 & 3, 9 & 10,
16 & 17, 2006
Over one hundred professional
artists and craftspeople at studio buildings in Berkeley, California will
participate in the 15th annualBerkeley Artisans Holiday Open
Studios. All manner of craft will be shown, including blown glass,
functional & decorative ceramics, ornaments, Menorahs, lamps & lighting,
painted and custom furniture, garden art, bird houses, egg dioramas, floor
cloths, clothing, textiles, many styles of jewelry, sculpture, photography,
paintings, original prints, other works on paper, soaps and natural perfumes,
and handcrafted wines. All work is handcrafted, and many pieces are
one-of-a-kind. This self-guided tour presents a unique opportunity to meet the
artists, to see working craft studios, and to purchase high quality work. A free
Map/List is available listing all participants. This event isFree.
