ICB's Annual December Winter Open Studios 2011
On
the first weekend in December "2cd, 3rd and 4th", the
Industrial
Center Building Community of Artists welcome visitors
to experience the annual Artists Open Studios Event, which has been a
Sausalito tradition for 40 + years.
Sausalito is well known to be an "Art Mecca" in the San Francisco Bay
Area and Northern California.
This is an opportunity to meet the artists in their studios and to view
their works of art. More than 80 artists studios will be open to the
public for these two days.
This event affords the visitors
no better place to find exceptional art works i.e. Sculptures,
Paintings, Prints, Fabric Artists, Photography, Unique crafts and
Special Gifts, while also enjoying the savings that are offered when you
buy directly from the artists.
The ICB Location is nestled close to the San Francisco Bay, toward the
North end of Sausalito, (see
map) this landmark historic building is steeped in the
area's ship building roots, and rekindled by the creative juices of a
